Here is how this works in practice. Stone Street Studios and Park Road Post in Wellington's Miramar, plus Kumeu Film Studios in Auckland (the Avatar 2/3 production base), all keep in-house LED inventories that our packages slot into or supplement. Smaller jobs — Wairarapa wineries, Bay of Islands hospitality, Rotorua and Queenstown adventure-tourism brands — typically run battery-tube and Nova-class packages for sub-3-tonne van travel. Large sound-stage builds use the full Vortex / SkyPanel / Orbiter mix.

Power infrastructure on NZ locations is built around 230V / 50Hz mains, with 3-phase distribution standard on professional sets and Honda EU70iS / EU30iS / EU22i petrol inverter generators or Stage V diesel sets when remote. WorkSafe NZ electrical compliance is mandatory. ACC universal accident insurance covers all crew. The LED lighting heritage in Aotearoa runs through Avatar Way of Water (which leaned heavily on LED Volume work at Manukau and Kumeu), Power of the Dog's careful South Island interior work, Thor: Ragnarok's Marvel-tier mixed sources, and the ongoing Rings of Power Amazon Prime production base in Auckland. We integrate NZSPG 20% + 5% productivity uplift records through the New Zealand Film Commission and route regional permits through Screen Auckland, Screen Wellington, ChristchurchNZ Film, and Film Otago Southland — with iwi/hapū consultation built into Hobbiton, Tongariro, and Aoraki/Mount Cook lighting plots.
