We book sound design through Department of Post Wellington and Park Road Post, the studios responsible for the sonic worlds of Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, King Kong, Avatar: The Way of Water, District 9, Mortal Engines, The Power of the Dog, and Rings of Power. Sound design sessions run Pro Tools HDX, Nuendo for hybrid scoring-and-design work, Native Instruments Kontakt and Spitfire libraries for tonal beds, and field-recording libraries that have native NZ wildlife — kiwi, kea, ruru, tui — alongside Park Road's proprietary creature-sound archives built across two decades of Jackson shoots. Native Audio The capital and Imagezoo Auckland deliver project-scaled sessions for shorter-form work. Output stems lock to 5.1 surround, 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, and stereo masters with ITU-R BS.775 tracking. We deliver against Netflix, Apple TV+ Atmos, Amazon HDR10+, HLG broadcast, and AS-11 specs for TVNZ and Three.
